Abstract

Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) has high mortality and disability rate, but the effective treatment strategy is still lacking. There is a certain gap between the Chinese and the international ICH research. In recent years, a series of international clinical studies have explored the ICH treatment based on different strategies, which provides very important references for the research and standardized treatment of ICH in China. High ⁃quality clinical trials are necessary to exchange between China and other countries. Department of Neurosurgery of West China Hospital, Sichuan University is carrying out Intensive Blood Pressure Reduction in Acute Cerebral Haemorrhage Trial 3 (INTERACT3) and preparing to carry out International Surgical Trial in Intracerebral Haemorrhage Ⅲ (STICH Ⅲ), hoping to promote the progress of ICH research in China.
